At Pupsteps, your privacy matters. This page explains how we look after your info and keep everything safe while you use our gentle app.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT We only collect what you share, like an email or name. We also notice how the app works on your device so we can keep things running smoothly for you and your pup.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION We use your details to keep the app working well and to share helpful updates or kind notes about our services. Your info helps us make your experience even better.
Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy.  Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.
SECURITY We use strong, caring measures to shield your info from anyone who shouldn't see it. Protecting your data while you focus on your wellness is our main priority.
Account and Data Deletion Pupsteps users can permanently delete their account and associated personal data from within the Pupsteps app. To delete your account in the app: Open Pupsteps. Go to Settings. Select Delete Account. Confirm that you want to permanently delete the account. Users who cannot access the app may request account and data deletion by emailing support@pupsteps.co.uk with the subject line Account Deletion Request. Please include the email address connected to the Pupsteps account so the request can be verified. When an account is deleted, Pupsteps deletes the user’s account and associated app data, including profile information, saved wellbeing entries, progress, friend information and other data connected to the account. Limited information may only be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment or accounting obligations. Any retained information will be kept only for the required period and will not remain available as an active Pupsteps account. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
